Justin Chelette, OD, FAAO, COEP

Dr. Justin Chelette is a board-certified developmental optometrist and Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He leads Texas Vision Therapy in Houston, a specialty clinic dedicated to diagnosing and treating vision challenges that don’t respond to glasses or contacts. These include strabismus, amblyopia, concussion recovery, balance disorders, and learning-related vision issues in both children and adults.

With formal training in vision therapy and visual rehabilitation, Dr. Chelette has had the privilege of lecturing on these topics at both the university-level and on the international stage, having gone as far as presenting at a conference in front of more than 500 optometrists in Krakow, Poland.

At the core of his work is a belief: vision is more than sight - it's about performance, learning, movement, and human potential. Whether you're treating convergence insufficiency, binocular dysfunction, or vestibular‑visual processing, Dr. Chelette aims to empower optometrists to dig deeper, communicate better, and make faster, more impactful clinical decisions.

On See It Differently, Dr. Chelette brings the same practical, textbook-informed, curious mindset that he brings to the clinic; helping optometrists refine their thinking, rethink the way they communicate, and elevate their care.
